WHY PRIVATE YOGA?

As the popularity of yoga continues to grow in our fitness industry, some people may find private yoga lessons to be more enticing.  Everyone may have different reasons:

Here is how private yoga can help you.

  • -Gain beginner experience in a comfortable environment

The practice is strictly for you. The pace of the class will be attuned to your needs.

In yoga, it is always good to begin from the fundamentals.

To understand what is the best alignment for you and your body so you can decrease the risk of injury.

  • Tune in to yourself without focusing and comparing yourself with others around you.

Rather its self-consciousness, feeling distracted, or feeling intimidated, one on one may be the right choice for you.

For some people, this may feel more calming and relaxing.

  • Setting your own personal goals

Goas may differ from one person to another. Some may wish to find relaxations or others may want to advance in their practice. Private yoga can fulfill your needs.

You can choose exactly how you want your class to be.

  • Work with your injury/injuries or other health concerns

Whatever your health limitations are, old or new injuries, yoga can help.

Being in a group setting may worsen your condition.  The instructor can’t simply address everyone’s health concerns but one on one can.

Poses will be modified according to your needs.

  • Allow you to practice anywhere and anytime.

Not all yoga has to be in a studio setting, it can be at a park, your job, or your private space.  Private zoom may also be available if you don't feel the comfort of meeting with a stranger.

If your job does not allow you to get to the studio on time. Private yoga may work with your available time.

  • You can ask questions as you work through your classes.

There are no set policies with leaving the question toward the end or in the beginning. You are allowed to pulse your class at any time to ask questions.

Know that you are in full control of how you desire your class should be.

  • Hands-on assistance may apply to your class.

Some hands-on adjustment allows your body to be in a better alignment. Some hands-on assists are feel-good adjustments.

Opting out of it is also an option if you don't wish to be touched.

  • Prepare you for group classes

Once you feel comfortable in your body and poses and feel confident for group classes. Your option is there as well.

Private classes can be as flexible as you want them to be. Nothing is set in stone.
